Terri lee-Shield Photography has a fresh look at portrait photography. By creating a relaxed but fun environment for your children, we can allow them to express themselves allowing their personalities to shine on the day. Whether you have 1 child or 10, we can bring out the best from them on the day by engaging them during the session and capturing their spirit. The result will be natural, individual images you can treasure, in your home.
At Terri Lee-Shield Photography your session is catered to your needs, and we make your child's portrait experience as hassle free as possible. We can come to your home, or any location of your choice to take your portrait (terms and conditions apply). You also have the option to choose to have your portraits taken at our comfortable, relaxed studio.

At Terri Lee-Shield Photography we want to capture your child’s growing hobbies and interests and encourage you to reflect that in the session. If your child has recently learnt to ride a bike, why not capture that time to remember forever. If your child loves dressing up, or is experimenting with makeup allow them to do so. Children may want to include a favourite toy into the session; interactive toys work better in photographs. Anything which requires energy and allows the kids to have fun while playing, generally generates better expressions on the day.
By allowing your child to truly express themselves, they will relax more during the shoot, and the images produced will have more meaning to you and your family. If you are unsure what to include in your session, call us for a chat and we can advise you.

During the session you may be encouraged to interact with your children, to help them relax and feel comfortable in front of the camera, capturing their natural expressions. If you want both joint and individual shots, we will encourage your children to interact with each other, creating fun and expressive images. We can also capture the softer side to your children’s relationship. The photography produced will be works of art, ready for you to display at home.
The best images from your session will be enhanced digitally to suit your requirements. All digital retouching is included in your session fee. We can provide basic retouching, to elaborate digital artwork. All images from your session will be displayed at a later date as a personal show, where you can choose your favourite images. All children must be accompanied by an adult, during the session and yes parents, you must attend the session. To qualify for this session offer, your child must be over 6 months of age. All your children must attend the session to qualify for the offer.

At Terri Lee-Shield Photography we also offer a unique service, documenting a year in your children's lives. You can choose to have a series of shorter sessions throughout the year, which will then be displayed in a personally designed and bound photobook for you to keep forever.
With this service you can commemorate key dates in your child's year and celebrate with them in a fun and interesting way. You can choose when you would like to have your sessions. We can commemorate any occasion including birthdays, anniversaries, mother’s/father’s day, Christmas, valentine’s day, Easter or any time important to your family. Each session will be styled to capture the emotion of each day, making each session individual and special.
